Here are a few of MY favorite things!
*Note: I have a lot of skin and respiratory allergies and am thrilled to find things that I can use! Of course not everything works for everyone, but these have been the best of the bunch for me!
Soaps/Shower Gels
Dr Bronner's Soaps (fair-trade & organic!) --almond is my favorite. I like the bar and the liquid.
Shaklee's Enfuselle Shower Gel & Shaklee's Get Clean Hand Wash--super gentle on sensitive skin!
Method Shower Gel (marine minerals) & Hand wash (love the pear one!)
K Hall Designs Soap-- Milk and Sandlewood with Vanilla are my favorites! The store in St Louis area is fun too! Luxurious soaps!
California Baby Love the Calming body wash, sunscreen, calendula cream (nature's first aid)--not just for babies!
Lotions
The Naked Bee Orange Blossom Honey-- This one is my absolute favorite! I love the light scent, it moisturizes nicely without being greasy & it doesn't aggravate my skin allergies! I buy mine at Lulu's On Main in Morton, IL
California Baby also has some nice lotions (though I personally do not like the Super Sensitive Skin one as it smells like car wax to me....maybe that's just me) Calming is my favorite, and I like Calendula too.
Skaklee's Enfuselle Body Lotion is also fabulous! Goes on like silk!
Cleaners
Shaklee's Get Clean line-- I especially love the Basic H2 Organic cleaning concentrate--you can make numerous cleaners from this one cleaner & it lasts a LONG TIME! Scour Off Scrubbing Paste is great too! It's made with cherry pits and smells like cherries!
Seventh Generation Disinfecting Wipes (all natural & not a bad price!) I like their dishwasher detergent too!
Vinegar--see blog entry for more information on that!
Method-- I love their laundry detergent, juicy pear hand soap, & sea minerals body wash.
Magazines
Kiwi-- a neat "green" parenting magazine for those with a little earth cookie in them!
Southern Living-- I'm from the south--this is home staple! The recipes, travel info, home stuff..ahhh!
Family Fun-- such great ideas that I rarely seem to get to, but I love to read about them!
more to come...
